Collaboration between

Parents of A.N.G.E.L.S. and the Bronx chapter of A.S.A.

April 2007

A few months ago the leadership of Parents of A.N.G.E.L.S. and the Bronx Chapter of the Autism Society of America met to discuss ways our organizations could collaborate to better serve the families affected by Autism in the Borough of the Bronx.

It is with great pleasure that we announce we will be co-hosting monthly support meetings at the Parents of A.N.G.E.L.S. location at 1968 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461.  These meetings will always take place on the third Thursday of each month from September through June between 7:00-9:00 pm.

In addition, we are able to provide linkages to support services for families through the Bronx Chapter of the Autism Society's partnership with North Central Bronx Hospital.  For more information you can call the Chapter's phone line at 718-519-4797.

As we all know, the prevalence of Autism has been rising dramatically.  Our families and loved ones with Autism need all the support and care possible.  By both of our organizations collaborating to help these families, we increase the support and access to information that is sorely needed to help address the many needs that Autism presents.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our meetings and events.  Thank you all for your continued support of our organizations and the cause of Autism awareness and advocacy.
